Ok im a 70 pvp mage, and ive done arcane and frost alot. Theyre fun. I never thought of fire as PvP or very fun but i relooked the talents and boy am i excited to respec. Ok, first of off living bomb. Seed of
Corruption mage style. In AV's just Living Bomb a bunch of ppl in the boss room and they wipe. Mainly, the talent i like is blast wave. In AV's it'd be fun on Defense to blast wave people off the bridge into the valley (Im alliance),
and mainly the Idea i had is to go into EOTS and blast wave ppl off the edge. blast wave FTW! feedback please on experienced fire mages. (PS blazing speed looks like fun)heh, welcome to the club, Fire is a rare
spec that i love using, its said you die easily....only if you dont pay attention, i recommend frost or arcane for those "slow" minded (get it? thought so) blazing speed is a nice thing to have, its like a GTFO if your almost oom or dead, (same thing really) keep the course. the instant flamestrike is nice and scorch till u crit twice and instant pyro I agree instant flame strikes can be useful, lots of instant AOE damage if you are good. basically you can DoT them with
a living bomb then frost nova or better yet hit them with a dragons breath/instant flamestrike then blastwave/instant flamestrike, then fireblast or possibly an instant pyroblast or both to finish them off.
Spell Power and leveling spec
Ok so I am starting to lvl a mage and was wondering how important spell power is at lower levels. My mage is only 25. So could some one tell me if spell power is important and what spec is the best for levling. At 60 I plan on going arcane/fire to get pyro but what should I do for now.
Currently a frost mage, Whibgood stay frost its the best lvlin spec imo as for spell power i dont think its that important in low lvls cuz u hardly find low lvl gear with spell power
so concentrate on mana Ok thanks. Is deep arcane going to be good at higher levels? Because I keep hearing it got buffed.arcane has been buffed but alot of people jst use it for pvp reli.. i use frost for lvlin, instance and for
pvp its a simple high dmg spec Ok thanks for the response. I believe I will still test this out in the later levels since I plan to pvp alot as a mage. If there are anymore tips I will be glad to listen.
